Mission
The mission of Hope for Gymnastics Foundation is to support the health of young rhythmic gymnasts through financial assistance for injury prevention in times of increased risk and for rehabilitation following an injury.
The foundation works to provide timely access to medical diagnostics, specialized therapy, and professional care, with the goal of ensuring a safe and sustainable return to the training process.
Scope
The foundation provides financial support in the following areas:
Medical diagnostics
Related to the identification of an injury or increased risk of injury.
Rehabilitation and physical therapy
Support during recovery and return to training.
Preventive support
In cases of increased risk of injury or during intensive competition periods, upon the recommendation of a coach and/or medical professional.
Psychological support
Related to the recovery process.
Principles
The foundation follows clear and transparent principles to ensure fair access to support for young rhythmic gymnasts across Bulgaria.
Transparency
Decisions regarding support are made based on predefined criteria and funds are allocated in a transparent and responsible manner.
Equal Access
Support is provided regardless of club affiliation or competitive results, with the foundation striving to reach gymnasts from different regions across Bulgaria.
Confidentiality
Information related to the health condition and personal data of applicants is processed and stored under strict confidentiality.

Ventsislava Petkova
Founder
Ventsislava Petkova is the founder of Hope for Gymnastics Foundation. She has a professional background in the hospitality and technology industries, with experience working in international business environments.
Katrin Taseva
Board of Directors member
Katrin Taseva is a World and European silver medalist in rhythmic gymnastics and represented Bulgaria at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. She is the recipient of numerous medals from World Cup competitions.
Katrin is the founder of Katrin Rhythmic Gymnastics Club and Katrin Taseva Premium Academy.
Romina Bozhilova
Board of Directors member
Romina Bozhilova is an international Brevet judge and rhythmic gymnastics coach at SC “Iliana” in Sofia. In 2023, she was honored with the “Coach of the Year” award in Bulgaria.
A former athlete of the national teams of Bulgaria and Georgia, she is a silver medalist from the 2007 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Baku. She has more than 15 years of coaching experience, including international work with gymnasts and sports clubs.
Her athletes have won numerous medals at national championships and international tournaments, with some of them becoming members of the Bulgarian National Team.
